A beautiful combination kitchen apron. The exterior is formerly a heavy linen tea cloth with hand cross-stitched summer flowers. The detail is exquisite and produced in Southern England around 1948. From a private collection found in Norfolk. The apron is fully lined with a cotton chintz curtain panel from the 1980's and echoes the curved fronds and summer flowers in the embroidery. The Apron ties are made from the original teacloth's hardanger (white work) edge embroidery. Front pocket. One size.
